Rack Fitness Privacy Policy

Last updated: 10 August 2026

Rack Fitness is a workout tracking and strength training app. We only use personal information to provide the app, sync your account, process subscriptions through Apple, support workout and body-progress features, and improve reliability.

Information We Collect

Depending on how you use Rack Fitness, the app may process:

Health Data

Rack Fitness may integrate with Apple Health if you grant permission. With your permission, the app may read supported body measurement data and write workout data to Apple Health. Health data is used only to provide the app features you choose to use. Rack Fitness does not use Apple Health data for advertising or sell Apple Health data.

How We Use Information

We use information to:

Third-Party Services

Rack Fitness may use service providers to operate the app, including Apple services for subscriptions and HealthKit permissions, authentication and backend infrastructure, and hosting or database providers used to store account-backed app data. These providers process information only as needed to provide their services to the app.

Subscriptions and Payments

Subscriptions and in-app purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. Rack Fitness does not receive or store your full payment card details.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with service providers where necessary to operate Rack Fitness, comply with law, protect rights and safety, or complete a business transfer if the app is ever sold or reorganised.

Rack Social

Social sharing is optional. Rack Social supports workout-summary posts and profile avatars. Before posting, Rack shows the workout preview that will be shared: workout name and completion time, duration, total volume, completed set and repetition totals, and up to eight exercise summaries. Workout notes, RPE, body measurements, programme identifiers, incomplete sets, and exercises beyond the first eight are not included.

You can make a post visible to Rack Social members or limit it to accounts that follow you. Following is unilateral and does not require approval. Blocking hides content and relationships in both directions. You can report profiles, posts and comments. Reports and limited moderation records may be retained where required to enforce the Community Terms, protect users or comply with law.

Data Retention

We keep information for as long as needed to provide Rack Fitness, maintain records, resolve disputes, comply with legal obligations, and support account recovery or deletion requests. When an in-app account deletion is requested, social content and uploaded media are removed, Social access is disabled, and final sign-in identity deletion is processed by a protected server queue. The queue retains only minimal audit fields for the approved operational or legal retention period.

Your Choices

You can control Apple Health permissions in the iOS Health app and device settings. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID subscription settings. You can request account deletion in Rack under Settings → Account, or contact us to ask about access or correction of account-backed information.

Children

Rack Fitness is not intended for children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.

Changes

We may update this policy as Rack Fitness changes. If we make material changes, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice.
